National Finance Co. SAOG (“National Finance”) business has been built on trust between our customers and us. Your privacy is important to National Finance. Therefore, as a customer of National Finance you are assured of the Privacy Policy for Consumers, which is as follows:
1. We will limit the collection and use of customer information to the minimum we require to deliver superior service to our customers, which includes advising our customers about our products, services and other opportunities, and to administer our business.
- We will permit only authorized employees, who are trained in the proper handling of customer information, to have access to that information. Employees who violate our Privacy Promise will be subject to our normal disciplinary process.

These companies are not permitted to retain any customer information unless the customer has specifically expressed interest in their products or services.
- In addition, the personal information collected from you may be transferred to, stored, processed or otherwise administered by third party agents, contractors or service providers who provide administrative, telecommunications, computer and other data mining and processing services. However, we will strive at all times to ensure that the information is kept confidential and secure in accordance to this policy and the Omani Personal Data Protection Law in addition to any other applicable law that might be issued from time to time.
- For purposes of credit reporting, verification and risk management, we will exchange information about our customers with reputable reference sources and clearinghouse services.
- We will not use or share – internally or externally – personally identifiable medical information for any purpose other than the underwriting or administration of a customer’s policy, claim or account, or as disclosed to the customer when the information is collected, or to which the customer consents.
- We will attempt to keep customer files complete, up-to-date, and accurate. We will tell our customers how and where to conveniently access their account information (except when we’re prohibited by law) and how to notify us about errors which we will promptly correct.
- The above terms set out our privacy policy in respect of personal information provided by visitors to this site. If you are also a customer of National Finance, the privacy of the personal information provided by you as a visitor will also be governed by our privacy norms applicable to personal information of customers. In particular, the personal information provided by you as a visitor may be used for purposes other than those provided in the Terms & Conditions governing your account as a customer.

Disclosing of Personal Data
National Finance will not disclose any information it has about customers and business relationships except when required by regulatory authorities, credit bureaus, government agencies, banks and financial institutions and other law enforcing agencies that have authority over National Finance or customer’s authorization and consent is obtained. Such disclosures may occasionally be made without customer’s knowledge and consent where National Finance legally compelled to do so.
National Finance restricts collection, use and retention of customer information that is limited to what is reasonably believed to be required to deliver products and services to National Finance’s customers, administer its operations, update and enhance its customers’ records, manage its risks, market its products and services, and to meet applicable laws and regulations. Personal data will be protected against unauthorized or accidental access, processing and collection of personal data from customers shall be for purposes relating to the provision of financing & leasing services or products that are offered by National Finance. The personal data will not be used for any purposes other than the data that were to be used at the time of collection or purposes directly related thereto and National Finance will at all time ensure that all practical steps will be taken to ensure that personal data are accurate and will not be kept longer than needed or will get rid of in accordance with the retention period required by law.

The customer undertakes not to disclose any password, authentication code and/or user identification code relating to its accounts and/or its use of this website to any other person. In the event of any such information becoming known to someone other than the customer, that person may be treated by National Finance as an agent of the customer and the customer undertakes to indemnify National Finance against all loss or damage which may occur as a result of that agent’s use of the relevant information.
The customer acknowledges that the Online facilities at this website is the property of National Finance which has the copyleft interest in all software and documentation relating to the Online facilities at this website and any subsequent amendments, including user guidelines in any form.
The customer agrees to treat the access lefts, documentation or any other information related to the facilities at this website as strictly private and confidential at all times and shall not copy or reproduce any of the foregoing in any form whether in whole or in part or allow access to any other party without the National Finance’s prior consent in writing.
The customer undertakes not to share any devices which are used to access this website with any third party and to use passwords to protect against the unauthorized use of such devices where possible. The customer undertakes to indemnify National Finance against all loss or damage which may occur as a result of allowing any third party to access a device which is able to connect to this website.
Account Services
The customer agrees that National Finance has the left to withdraw any or all of the facilities under this website, without assigning any reason.
The customer acknowledges that no printed advice or confirmation will be issued by National Finance for any transaction conducted through this website, except that all transactions will be recorded in the customer’s statements for each account.
The customer understands that the date and the time stamped on transaction print-outs or confirmation advice slips reflects the date and the time of National Finance’s main systems and that any transaction submitted for processing before National Finance’s daily cut-off time will be completed on the same business day and any transaction submitted for processing after National Finance’s daily cut-off time or on a public holiday in the Sultanate of Oman will be completed on the next business day.
GOVERNING LAW
Use of this website or the mobile Apps shall be governed by all applicable laws of the Sultanate of Oman. In no event shall National Finance, any of its affiliates, or any of its officers, directors, employees or agents be liable for any loss, damage or expense arising out of or otherwise related to the use of this website. Such changes are deemed to be binding on the customer whether or not he has received specific notice of them.
These Terms & Conditions are in addition of National Finance’s other terms and condition and the customer confirms having read, understood and accepted these Terms & Conditions. National Finance may at any time vary the Terms & Conditions by posting revised Terms & Conditions on the website. The customer hereby waivers any left of contestation in respect thereof and agrees to be bound by the same.

Terms and Conditions
The Mobile Application Service is made available to the Customer by National Finance on the following terms and conditions. These terms and conditions, apply to and regulate the provisions of the specified products and services provided by National Finance. The Customer is required to read these terms and conditions carefully before deciding on whether it would like to avail this service. Upon the commencement of availing of the service by the Customer, the Customer will be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions. These terms and conditions shall be in addition to and not in derogation of other terms and conditions of any account or any other Facility/Services offered by the National Finance and/or such other terms and conditions as may be specified by the National Finance.
Definitions
In these terms & conditions:
1. “National Finance” refers to “National Finance Co. SAOG” having it’s registered mailing address at PO Box-1706, Postal Code-112, Ruwi, Muscat, Sultanate of Oman
2. “Customer” refers to the Individual/Business entity having a finance facility with National Finance.
3. “User” means person(s) authorized by the Customer to use the Mobile application provided by National Finance.
4. “Security Identifier” refers to the User’s own User ID, password and the OTP generated using token provided by National Finance to the Customer or by using any other unique identifier issued by National Finance.
5. “Service” refers to the Mobile Service which National Finance is offering to its customers enabling them to view their accounts and perform transactions over the Internet.
6. “National Finance Application” refers to as the application created by National Finance. that includes all services provided to Users through the application.
7. “Mobile Phone” shall mean a valid SIM card enabled smartphone (running on iOS or Android Windows operating system), which is owned by the User.
8. “PC” shall mean the personal computer (desktop, laptop etc.) of the User
The Service
1. National Finance may offer the Mobile on-line services to selected Customers at its discretion.
2. The operation and maintenance of the Lease Account (where applicable) is subject to the Lease Agreement. If the Account is closed, then the access to Account through the Mobile Service will also be terminated.
3. Any Electronic Instruction received by National Finance after the relevant cut-off time on a business day or on a non-business day for National Finance will be treated as an Electronic Instruction received on the next business day.
4. Transactions are subject to the rules and regulations of the Sultanate of Oman as specified by the Government of Oman and other Regulatory Authorities.
5. National Finance reserves the left to levy service charges for any services provided which are subject to change from time to time.
6. National Finance shall be irrevocably authorized by the Customer to accept and act upon instructions given by the Customer where the Security Identifiers appear to have been validly used including the debit or credit to Customer’s Account or carry out any service requested without further authority from the Customer. The Customer hereby agrees to indemnify National Finance and hold National Finance indemnified against compliance by it with any instructions from the Customer which appear to National Finance to have been given by the Customer.
7. The Customer agrees that some requests/instructions given by the Customer are subject to authorization by officer/s of National Finance, and therefore may not be immediately and automatically effected. The Customer further agrees that the National Finance reserves the left to allow or disable such requests at its discretion with or without prior notice to the Customer.
8. The display or printed output produced by a User at the time of use of the Mobile Service is a record of the operation of internet access and shall not be construed as National Finance’s record of transactions with no liability towards National Finance. National Finance’s own record of transactions maintained through computer systems or otherwise shall be accepted as conclusive and binding unless any discrepancy is pointed out to National Finance within 7 days of receipt of such statement by a Customer.
9. For security purposes, The Customer agrees and authorizes National Finance, at its discretion, to record by whatever means the transactions which the Customer or Users effect via National Finance Mobile Service Facility and that such records may be used by National Finance for the purpose of, amongst other things, establishing or verifying that a particular transaction was effected through the use of User ID and Passwords.
10. Records maintained by National Finance of any instruction given by the Customer under this Service shall be conclusive evidence of the Customer’s instruction and the time it was given.
11. The User is responsible for the accuracy of all information supplied to National Finance through the use of this Service and any other means such as electronic mail or written communication and National Finance shall not be liable for any consequences by reason of erroneous information provided by the User. Where the User discovers an error or mistake, National Finance must be informed immediately.
12. National Finance shall have the left to set-off and lien in respect of any of the Customer’s linked Accounts, either joint or single with regard to any outstanding dues arising out of the Service.
Eligibility and Usage
This Service shall be available to the Users in Sultanate of Oman, subject to the condition that the User registers for National Finance Application. The User should have registered the User’s current GSM Number with National Finance and should be using National Finance National Finance Application for availing the Services offered by National Finance under National Finance Application. Also for the purpose of availing the Service the User would need to have legal and valid access to the National Finance Application on the Mobile Phone or on the PC.
This Facility shall be made available only to the Users satisfying the eligibility criteria and shall be provided at the sole discretion of National Finance and may be discontinued by National Finance at any time, with or without prior intimation to the User.
The User understands and accepts that any other condition that is a pre-requisite to access and avail benefits under the Service, including, but not limited to a Mobile Phone, Data Connection, etc. will be the sole responsibility of the User.
Security & Confidentiality
1. Security Identifiers are to be kept confidential at all times. The User undertakes not to disclose any password, authentication code and/or user Identification code relating to its accounts and/or its use of National Finance Application.
2. The Customer must logout from account when leaving computer/mobile device unattended.
3. The Customer undertakes not to share any devices which are used to access National Finance Application with any third party and to use passwords to protect against the unauthorized use of such devices where possible.
4. The Customer agrees to treat the access lefts, documentation or any other information related to National Finance Application as strictly private and confidential at all times and shall not copy or reproduce any of the foregoing in any form whether in whole or in part or allow access to any other party without the National Finance’s prior consent in writing.
5. The Customer agrees to duly acknowledge the receipt of Password Mailer/Tokens according to National Finance’s requirements. The Customer also agrees that National Finance has the left to retain the Customer’s National Finance Mobile Service Facility User ID in disabled status till National Finance receives proper acknowledgement from Customer/User.
6. The Customer is aware that it is the Customer’s responsibility to obtain and maintain any equipment, which may be necessary for using National Finance Mobile Service Facility, in proper working condition and with adequate safeguards against malicious threats to such equipment or to National Finance Mobile Service Facility.
7. If the Customer becomes aware that the Security Identifiers appear to be known to a third party, the Customer must inform National Finance immediately. National Finance is not liable for loss from any unauthorized transactions and/or information, including disclosures made by Customer or otherwise by use of the Customer’s Account through the proper Security Identifiers.
8. Electronic mail is not a secure means of communication and National Finance shall not act on instructions sent by e-mail.
9. The Customer should be aware that the Internet is not a completely reliable means of communication and should the Customer choose to communicate through such means, at own risk.
10. The Customer acknowledges that National Finance Application is the property of National Finance which has the copyleft interest in all software and documentation relating to the National Finance Application and any subsequent amendments, including user guidelines in any form
User Data and Access User data
Your National Finance Application service is highly secure. The application does not store any sensitive information or transaction logs on your Mobile Phone or on the PC; which makes your National Finance Application experience totally secure. Apart from this, there are other robust security features built into the Application. Data exchange from this Application is encrypted based on best industry standards and dual factor authentication, making National Finance service trusted.
- Access to Photos and Media: we need this access to allow you to upload images and documents through National Finance Mobile App for the purpose of applying for a new loan and initiating a service request
- Personal Information (Mobile Number, National ID, Date of Birth, Mailing Address, Email, Financials and Other related information): your mobile number and personal data is required for registration purposes only and this information will not be shared with any third party
- Phone Network Connection, Device Information and Make and Manage Incoming Phone Calls while using National Finance App: we need this permission for security purposes at login activity and to manage incoming calls as notification while using National Finance Mobile App to avoid disruption
- Device Location: the permission is required for the following reasons:
- Maintain login location activities for security purpose
- Provide location of National Finance nearest branch
- Capture location through GPS to fulfill your address information requires for applying for a new loan
- Camera Access: Camera is used to capture/scan documents
Liability
1. National Finance shall not be liable to the Customer for any negligence, breach of contract, misrepresentation or otherwise for any loss howsoever caused (including any loss direct, indirect, incidental, consequential and irrespective of whether any claim is based on the loss of revenue, investment, production, goodwill, profit, interruption of business) to the Customer by reason of, but not limited to, any of the following:
1. The Customer’s use of the Service or any materials or software provided or downloaded from the website;
2. Failure on the part of the Customer to use or access the Service at any time and any error in the provision of any part of it;
3. Any claim brought by a third party against National Finance or its Customers by reason of improper use of the Service by the User.
4. Any delay or failure of any transmission or receipt of any instructions or notification sent through the Service.
5. The Customer’s use of e-mail or other non-secure electronic instructions to provide instructions to National Finance;
6. Any inaccurate information or opinions displayed through the Service or the Customer’s reliance thereon;
7. Any loss incurred by the use of User ID and password/s issued to the Customer or any substitutes thereon without the Customer’s authority.
8. Any loss caused by failure to safeguard the security identifiers issued to the Users.
9. The Customer acknowledges the validity of all orders issued to National Finance vide the Customer’s User ID and shall waive all personal claim/s or objections for the implementation by National Finance of those orders.
2. National Finance will not be able to act on a Customer’s instruction submitted through the Service if National Finance suspects or reasonably considers:
1. the Customer’s instructions may not be accurate or authentic;
2. National Finance may be in breach or contravention of any laws, regulations or other such duty by acting on such instructions;
3. National Finance cannot comply with the terms and conditions by reasons of conditions beyond National Finance’s control (including any systems or equipment failure, industrial disputes or force majeure).
Personal Information
The User agrees that National Finance may use Customer’s personal details on the computer in connection with other services as well as statistical analysis and credit scoring. The User also permits National Finance to disclose to other institutions, in strict confidence, such personal information as may be reasonably necessary for reasons inclusive of, but not limited to, fraud prevention purposes, credit rating by recognized credit scoring agencies, compliance with legal directives or for participation in any telecommunication or electronic clearing network or upon request of any local authorities in Sultanate of Oman.
Proprietary lefts
No proprietary lefts or ownership lefts vest in the Customer by reason of use of any of the software provided for use of the Service.
Changes to terms & conditions
1. National Finance has the absolute discretion and full authority, with no objection from Customers’ side, to change any of these terms and conditions at any time and shall endeavor to give prior notice of 15 days for any such changes.
2. National Finance shall determine the privileges attached to the use of National Finance Mobile Service Facility and shall have absolute discretion to change, vary, add or amend these privileges and conditions attached thereto, from time to time, as National Finance deems fit.
3. National Finance shall attach or detach any accounts opened in the name of the Customer, subsequent to this application. The Customer agrees and acknowledges that such attachment or detachment can be due to prevailing rules and regulations of National Finance.
4. National Finance shall, from time to time, introduce new facilities/options into National Finance Mobile Service Facility. The Customer does hereby agree to abide by the terms and conditions applicable to such newly added services/facilities/options though added subsequently to the activation of the User IDs whether or not the Customer expressly registers to avail such services.
5. In case if National Finance requires the Customer to register for a specific service provided by National Finance Mobile Service Facility, the Customer undertakes to adhere to such request for registration to avail such service. The Customer agrees that any such subsequent registration becomes an integral part of this agreement.
Termination
1. The Customer may request termination of the Service by giving written notice of 15 days to National Finance and shall be responsible for all transactions until the time of cancellation of the Service.
2. National Finance may withdraw the Service at any time provided that Customer is given notice.
3. National Finance may suspend or terminate the Service without prior notice to the Customer if the Customer has breached any terms.
Notices
1. Notices under these terms and conditions may be given to National Finance and the Customer in writing by delivering them by hand or post to the last known address given by the Customer or in the case of National Finance, to the address mentioned in the Definitions section above.
2. In addition, National Finance may publish notices of a general nature which are applicable to all Customers of the Service, on its web site. Such notices shall have the same effect as a notice served individually to each Customer.
Governing Law
These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Sultanate of Oman. The mere fact that the Mobile Service can be accessed through the internet by a Customer in any other country other than the Sultanate of Oman does not imply that the laws of the said country govern these terms and conditions and /or operations relating to any of the accounts of the Customer under this Service.
